Our new draft Women's Safety Plan

Based on your feedback, we have created a new, draft Women's Safety Plan.

Focusing on the four following key themes, we have come up with new activities, services and campaigns to tackle violence against women and girls.

The four themes are:

• Prevention of, and the response to, domestic abuse (where the victim is a woman)
• Safety of women & girls in public places
• Education of young people, particularly men & boys, within educational settings
• Improving equality and accessibility for women & girls in terms of how the Council operates and how key services are delivered.
